Introduction
If u look at the fruitflies u will see the ovipositor is injected to the fruit.
This is transfering of eggs to the fruit.
¢ Pests
Example: fruitflies that infested fruit
¢Bactrocera cucurbitae-melon, cucumber and tomato crops
¢Bactrocera dorsalis-pear, peach, apricot, fig,manggos,citrus
'¢Bactrocera oleae- olive
¢Bactrocera papaya-papaya
¢Bactrocera carambola-star fruit
Malaysia more 400 species of Bractocera

¢Effect of insecticide
Contamination to environment
Destroy biodiversity on animal (DDT or Organochlorine)
¢Higher level of food chain( e.g. eagle, human)
¢Biological control
Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Opiinae
¢All members of opiines species endoparasitoids to cyclorraphous Diptera
¢Suitable compare to other Hymenoptera (Rationale) -
shows degree of host specificity in term of species number that are parasitized (Wharton, 1997)
opiines species generally parasitize multiple species of fruit flies and sometimes different number of different
genera according to their host suitability and also larval development (Ero, 2009)
¢The basic information for the biology of many opiines species is still inadequate and small number of the species have been using as biological control agents without knowing detail on the  parasitization  process according to the pests and parasitoids
¢Using molecular analysis

Expected resultS
1.At which larval stages of the fruit fly is parasitized by the opiines
2.Species of fruit flies and braconids species are determined  by using molecular data (two markers; 28S and ND1)
3.The crop or fruit species (as hosts) infested by each fruitfly species is confirmed
