Creativity in Teaching

Teaching really required creative teacher. Teacher need to be creative in ways to handle student, make them understand better the learning and also will encourage them in learning process. If the teacher just use chalk and talk, this will lead to boring, dull and sleepy class. A lot of ways and techniques I have been used to increase the learning process by using variety of pedagogy technique that required me to be creative. It basically involves hearing, writing, drawing, explaining, exercising and practicing. Here are some of the ways that I want to share.

Principle in teaching:

       1. Mastering the knowledge- teacher must be able to understand widely about the topic and have ability to manipulate it.

       2. Organize the knowledge- teacher must see and been able to arrange the knowledge according to level of complexity.

      3. Make it interest note- try to use a lot of example, picture, video and real situation in note.

 4. Involving the student- teacher need to involve the student in learning for example ask them to write, draw, or explaining to the friends.
 5. Practicing- try to find any related experiment that seem to be fun and easy to be handle in class that related to the teaching.

.       6. Exercising- keep repeat the part that seem to be important.

  7. Field work- try to ask them to do field work based on the topic.

To apply the entire principle teacher will need a lot of time. They need to make a lot of revision, to prepare the material, to try it first and then to control the class not to be chaos. Failure will be the closest friend if it not been prepared and handled well. However it worth trying because from time to time teacher will increased their understanding and method of teaching based on their experience.
